The Y is Expanding in Waukesha County
It is an exciting time in our Y's 117 year history! A team of YMCA Board members and committed volunteers have raised the necessary funds to turn a dream into reality. This fall we break ground on a new 58,000 square foot facility at the SE corner of I43 and Hwy 83 in Mukwonago. Opening fall 2012, this new facility will serve families, senior citizens, adults and children from a broad geographic region in southern Waukesha County and beyond.

The Waukesha YMCA and the Mukwonago YMCA, while being unique facilities and different communities, will offer needed programs and dedicated services that stand for Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. Under the governance structure of the proposed YMCA of Central Waukesha County, operational efficiencies, shared services and staff resources will benefit the newly formed Y Association.

The facility will include: adventure pool, lap pool, hot tub, gymnasium, locker rooms, senior/teen room, child watch area, member lounge, community meeting room and a large cardio and strength workout area with 3 group exercise studios.
